Lash & brow services FAQ's
Q: What’s the difference between a brow tint and a stain?
A traditional brow tint colours the brow hairs only, giving a soft, natural enhancement that lasts about two weeks. A hybrid stain, however, tints both the hair and the skin beneath it which creates a more defined, filled-in look that can lasts up to 7 days on the skin and six weeks on the hairs. Perfect for clients who love a bolder finish.
Q: What is brow mapping and why is it important?
Brow mapping is the process we use to measure and outline your brows before any shaping or tinting. It ensures symmetry, balance, and a shape that complements your facial features, so your brows are customised just for you.
Q: What’s involved in a brow lamination?
Brow lamination gently smooths and redirects the brow hairs into a more lifted, uniform position. It’s perfect for taming unruly or downward-growing hairs, giving your brows a fuller, more sculpted appearance. The results last around six to eight weeks.
Q: How long will my lash or brow results last?
Both lash lifts and brow laminations typically last six to eight weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and aftercare. Tint and stain longevity may vary, usually two weeks for tint and up to four weeks for stain.
Q: Can I wear get my lashes/brows wet after treatment?
We recommend keeping the area dry and makeup-free for 24 hours after your appointment. This allows the lift, tint, or stain to fully set, giving you longer-lasting, more even results.
Q: Are lash and brow treatments safe for sensitive skin or eyes?
Yes! We use professional-grade products and always assess your skin and lashes before treatment. Patch testing is available on request for extra peace of mind.
